Film View

Pain Don't Hurt

In the unlikely chance you were pining for some kind of bizarre visual illustration which illuminates the reasons for my blog's existence, then I ask you to look no further than the mash-up below. After all, the first two sentences in my blog's bio were born from inspiration provided by this clip (and more specifically, the aroma of badass).
As I stated on Twitter, after watching this clip, "palms will sweat, fists will clench, and you'll hardly be able to fight the urge to check for marks." I can say, as with any great apocryphal story, the clip's effects, gleamed from my unofficial study, are likely to include nausea, euphoria, phantasmagoria, and any combination therein. Now, behold the latest Internet phenomenon and FIGHT THE POWER!

Thank you, Red Letter Media!

    1. LOL! I was doubtful, too. Then I looked down and realized I'd have to endure only 45 seconds of relentless fisticuffs.

    1. HA! Congratulations, Craig for being the first commentator to feature a "punch"-related joke. Such a clever lad, Mr. Edwards!

  3. LOL All right, I'm admitting it, Road House is a total guilty pleasure of mine and I love every cheesetasic second of it. I don't care. I watch this whenever I feel the need to see someone get clocked or their throat ripped out. ;)

    1. "Guilty pleasure," heck, my fondness for this film requires no admission of guilt. It's pure, unbridled, non-stop action (i.e. you should announce your willingness to see it without sheepish skepticism). Besides your diverse tastes deserve some good old-fashioned cheesiness.

HAHA! Love your reasons for watching it. I'd hate to be the one who leads you to the "cooler."

    1. LOL! You don't even remember the punching?

And I'm inclined to agree: Watching these 45 seconds, in some odd, visceral sense, vaguely re-creates the impact of a punch to the face.
